FOTD: Fafi Fafi love nuts Jan, 22, 2009

I had to wake up super early imo on my day off. I had to go to an orientation and slapped some m/u on my face. Like literally slapped cause I had already woken up late and was rushing because I wasn't sure if I would hit traffic. Well turns out I was 4 minutes late and they said I had to come back for the next orientation. Ugh I was so mad I wasted gas and got up early for nothing. So I came home thinking "Hmm, I should put more makeup on." So that's what I did, then I did my MUA swaps, headed to the PO and then to the orientation. Here's the look. :]

I was up and awake for some odd reason since I could have been sleeping peacefully. I was cleaning up my makeup station and I didn't want to do my makeup since it was 3am and I wasn't going anywhere. So I decided to do one eye. Nothing else but the left eye. And of course it had to be with the pinks. I really need to start venturing and trying new color combos. I feel like it looks the same every time. But ehh whatevas.

MAC Redhead MSF

Oh how I am in love with my redhead msf! I fuckin swear they need to make this shit permanent aside from e/s and blushes. I was only supposed to go and do B2M and then I swatched it and fuckin fell in love all over again. I wanted to get blonde but I wasn't even supposed to buy anything. Oh and I guess my MAC store finally caught up with the whole "having the tins for e/s" bull shit. Ugh how I hate it but shit I have some new empties that I ordered from starsmakeuphaven some time ago so it's all good. So I def. gotta go back and get me wintersky e/s. And just maybe blonde. lol, no I need to stop, I use to hoard like no fuckin tmrw even though I shouldn't of. I would blow my whole paycheck on MAC and sephora. That was when the hubby was working. Now I have all this m/u that I barely use since I'm to lazy to wake up early now. But anyways redhead msf has pink and a beige golden shimmer to it so I could use them individually or all together. I really love it for highlighting and its just gives a nice glow. The blonde looked all pink to me and I have yellow undertones.

BTW, I'm swapping my new vegas msf for petticoat because it's not as smooth as these. And I heard petticoat is pretty smooth.

Hey everyone! So I watch this girl on YT with the username of julieg713. She is amazing! She does nails and makeup! She has a nail video with snowflakes so I decided to do that but I really see them as stars and I changed mine a bit. Also I got fast drying topcoat by Poshe. It's been seen in allure magazine and some other ones so I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm not going to do a official review on it but let me tell you the good points. It claims to dry the surface in 1 minute and dry the complete nail in 5 minutes. I was skeptical about the 5 minutes because a lot of rapid dry nail enamels say that and it still smudges a bit. Like only the surface is dry. But omg, this is the best because it does dry completely in 5 minutes!!! And it gives it a high gloss finish and seems a little thick like the gel they use for acrylics. And no UV light is required. I love it and it is now my HG topcoat.

Swap/Haul

Hey everyone! So I've been swapping on MUA quite frequently since I've signed up. These are items I've swapped for and some I bought.

I went to MAC to turn in some empties and was going to pick up a shadow but then decided on girl about town l/s. It was just so bright and pretty! And then I saw the penultimate and fell in love..so I thought. I liked the feel of it when I swatched it on my hand. It was so smooth. But then I tried it out and I think I like better results when I use a brush. Maybe I just need to get use to a felt tip. And its not as black as I hoped for. But I guess that was expected since I read about that on temptalia.

I exchanged two lipstains that didn't really show on my lips. I'm soo in love with these but realistically I would probably not use them as much since I love my MAC l/s and l/g.

MAC alexander mcqeen new vegas msf was a lot more chunky gliterry than I thought it would be. I still love it but now I'm wanting even more is petticoat, blonde and redhead msf. I can't hear anything but good things about those msfs.

The chanel quad I got from MUA, first chanel ever and was excited but now I'm a lil disappointed since they aren't as smooth and buttery as I expected.

UD 24/7 liners are one of my faves! For an easy eyeliner type of day look, my hand reaches for these. I need to get more!

Fresh supernova mascara- Oh how I heard so many good things about you. But I'm slightly disappointed with you. I like dramatic lashes even in the daytime. You really can't see my lashes so this gives it some justice but it reminds me of a soft daytime look that I'm just not into. Its not incredibly horrible, its just not to my liking.

NARS=love. plain and simple, I love my orgasm and lipglosses.

Too Faced kabuki=love also. Sooo teddy bear soft!?!

FOTD: Seafoam Dark Skies Jan. 10, 2009

I had a birthday party to go to with the fam bam and was feeling my good ol blues. My outfit was teal and black. I thought it was cute and would have took a picture except I'm fat. Lol! No really, it is what it is. You will rarely see any full body photos of me. I almost wanted to cry when I saw Lady L's post(click) on how much weight she lost. I felt motivated. But just like how it is all the time, I feel motivated but not enough to do something about it. I was average(130 lbs) before I got pregnant with my first daughter and after I gave birth... it all went downhill from there. And my current weight is just ridiculous. But anyways, enough about my fatty woes... Here is my FOTD!

Oh and I used BLINC KISS ME MASCARA, and aside from lash plumper(which I noticed weighs my lashes down a bit, but still a 5 out of 5), I absolutely love this mascara! Review coming soon!

Dang I still can't believe it is 2009!?!

So today is my day off and decided I'd try out my helium piggie(haul coming soon). Mannn how it is such a beautiful color! I don't know what collection it came out with since I still think I'm pretty new to the whole MAC scene. I just started collecting March of last year. So this march will be by one year MAC whore anniversary! Lol, lammmeee! I wish I started sooner because I know I missed some awesome collections! Like mcqueen and c-shock! Boy how I want to get my hands on some of those. So here it is, simple seeing how I just used helium. Then added a tad of sushi flower after. And I was super excited to use my girl about town and penultimate(haul coming soon)! Yes I know it's such a bold bright ass color, but shit I love bright colors! Especially my pinks and blues. I've always believed m/u has no rule, you just follow what you are comfortable with (crazy looking or not) and as long as your happy then its all goooood! I don't do brights on a daily so I'm not that crazy. lol!

HAUL

A late Happy New Year to everyone! I hope everyone had a freakin awesome new year! Mine was ok, spent it at the in-laws which was alright. Soo my first post of the new year with be a haul! yayy for hauls! I've been on MUA daily so blog posts have suffered. Lol! You know I've been checkin jessica dee's blog and she hasn't updated in a while so I hope she's doing ok. But anyways, I've been reading my fellow beauty bloggers posts a couple times a week, just haven't had a chance to comment.

My haul consisted of mostly lippies. Boy oh boy how I freakin love my lippies!?! In beauty I'd say lip products and mascara are my #1's right now. It use to be blush but I have switched out my obsession with that. I still love my blush because I feel it just gives you a warm look. Without blush I feel like I look pale and flat.

The MAC starlet kiss and l/s were BN from MUA. I would never get used l/g off of there just cause there is no way to sanitize it. So I was super lucky for this LE lipgloss. The lipstains I got at work BOGO. Yayy for that cause they weren't exactly cheap for a girl on a strict budget. They cost $8.45 each at rite aid. I have to say I love them! I like to top them with l/g to give it that glossy look which I love. I hate my l/s look so flat unless that's what I'm going for. But once the gloss wears off I will still have color on my lips! I will do a review soon on them. At work I forget to re touch up or don't have time to so that's a plus for me. I've used one color so far (bit of blossom) and swatched on my hand they really look similar but I'm hoping they don't look like that on my lips. If they do I will exchange them or return it. We shall see... The mascara was also BN from a swap on MUA. As anyone would be crazy IMO to swap for used mascara.
