FOTD: Greedaaay

Wow I've been attempting to post this FOTD for 2 weeks now. As always I lag and lag and just lag. So here goes everything I remember...Btw their new line is amazing for drugstore makeup and the prices are outrageously cheap for the great quality they provide. This palette was $4.99. They have new blush formulations coming out, more eyshadows, new lipsticks, etc. Check them out at your local drugstore.

NOTW: Valentines Day

For valentines day, the hubby and I went to a casino/resort. We didn't stay the night we just ate at buffett. Seafood galore there! Crab legs, oysters(I don't eat these but hubby likes em), muscles.. mmm so good. oh and prime rib. But it was well done so it wasn't all that great. I like them med rare.. so these are the nails I rocked. The makeup will be posted another day.

Inspired by Miss Jaclyn Rose... I saw her twit pic her beautiful acrylic nails and I can't get acrylics anymore so I busted out my red glittery polish and painted away. She had a black line instead of hot pink..

NOTW: Rajun Cajun

I've always been the type to try and stray away from the whole "stick with the seasons when choosing cosmetics". Like don't wear coral or flashy colors in winter. Or don't have light brown hair in winter. Winter is for dark lips, dark hair. blah blah blah blah blah. Frankly I think that is a bunch of bullshit. WEAR ANY TYPE OF MAKEUP/NAIL POLISH YOU WANT ANY TIME. Don't stick to the seasons and stuff. Just saying.. I'm trying my best to get out of that mentality. Whole point is I want to take this coral polish off already and put something dark.. I'm not going to but I want to.

FOTD: Blur-gendy Smoke

Crappy cell phone pictures. I'm to lazy to bust my camera out. Today I went to sephora for like the second time in my life. I don't live conveniently close to one and I usually stay in my hood so out of the blue I decided to go. Had a $50 gift card to spend and wanted to check out the stila jeweled collection. Picked up some goodies and left.

So anyway I was planning on eyeliner only with beauty marked packed on top. Well it turned into a FULL face of makeup with lashes. I rarely do lashes but for some reason I said what the hell. Looks all black but it's not..Here it is..

5 MAC Pigment Swatches

Unfortunately these are all LE from MAC. I'm not sure if any of them are MAC PRO colors so if you like them you may want to check on that. I've only used white gold on my inner corner lid and I've never used any of the other ones for my eyeshadow so I decided I would swatch them because I had no recollection of what they looked like. All my pigments get neglected. I'm not really the loose shadow type of girl. Too much fallout to clean up. I'm going to try and use these colors at least once. My other pigments got some love for a while..And of course FLASH washed the colors out a bit but you get the idea of the prettiness of these babies.

FOTD: MAC

I can't remember for the life of me what makeup I used in this fotd. I just know it was MAC. It was sooo long ago that I've completly forgotten. I take pictures with the intent to post the next day and then I forget. I figured I'd post it anyway since I took the time to snap some pics. The thing that sucks is I really like the lip color but I have no idea what it is...

FOTD: Textured fields

I think all I was wearing in this FOTD is MAC texture and magnetic fields. I'm sure the highlight is one of three or all three. MAC phoolf, brule, blanc type. Brule and blanc type are my fave eyeshadows to blend eyeshadow out. Then sometimes I top it off with a frost or some kind of shimmer shadow. Oh for the lips it was MAC viva glam 2 and MAC feeling dreamy(le) lipglass. One of my fave combos =]
